It is not the number of directories but the length of the pathname. DOS had a limit on the length of a file pathname. I don't recall how many characters that limit was, but apparently it still exists in Windows. I can give it a try.... ..... You talked about a character limit, if u use winrar and w...

Don't blame me, blame microsoft for the windowscreen that told it could not be longer than 260 characters.......but whatever, who cares?

Heeeee :D I found out what the problem is with the "file not found"- error in cutoff. It was not the size of the file nor other programs using the file, but the problem is the number of submaps where the file is in eg. C:\Documents and Settings\user\Bureaublad\The Stepford Wives 2004yqoomgnv.avi ---...
