OpenDcHub, bots and bans

Lately I'm having bot problems
lots of connections from 38.118*

I tried to ban them using the command
!ban 38.*

but they still manage to get in
any ideas?

What are the supported parameters that can be set for the applet?
is there a "nick" parameter?
I would like to pass a nick parameter from a different page instead of having the user input it

is it possible?

thanks
