Pardon if this has been addressed- didn't have any luck searching for it.

If www.whatismyip.com can detect my IP, why doesn't DC++ detect it when you've got it set to Active Mode?

Re: the no sources vs. slow sources, perhaps DC++ could note the rates of the sources (from getting the lists) and simply use the one with the highest average rate.
