1) if you want to save bandwith for something else it's your problem ... 2) users with lots of wanted files (>500 GB good share ;) will end up with a huge key file 3) someone with REALLY slow download speed (sometimes a connection is just plain slow, or some modem user) will block the slot virtually...

you'll need to eb able to run a program ... so shell access will work :)
you need one linux hub software (not sure about development status there) since most hub softs run on windows ...

* the hubs you are op in could have different hub rules so you only want to search for it ine one of the hubs
* you might do searches that get LOADS of results (1000+) and thus like to search on as few hubs as possible ;)

only problem mith moo2 is that multiplayer isn't playable over LAN ... combat is freaking slow and they never fixed it ... and i also miss GNN and those sience breakthrough messages, but moo2 also had it's weak points: seomtimes you just weren't able to invent important thing like doom stars and sin...

it would only change the number fo results YOUR client is sending to OTHERS not the number of results you will get ..

ah well ... your galaxy can have up to 200 systems with about 4 usable planets each ... :) lots of stuff can be doen automatically, you don't need to worry about what to research, or build up your colonies since that's done automatically. you can specify a development plant for each colony so the AI...

is out, i recieved my copy 2 days ago :) all i say is: go, get it :) if you likes MoO 1/2 it's a must. for all others: 16 Races (and you can have 15 AI players !) LOADS of possibilites lots of automisation options so you don't have to do everythign yourself ... you won't stand without it, it's just ...

plz do a lot of users a favour and add an option to retry connecting to a hub even if it says "username already taken" ... if you get disconnected (95% of german ADSL users get disconnected every 24 hours f.ex.) you get always username taken 'cause thehub timeout is longer than the time you need to ...
