if you want to show even offline user's files, that could be a real pain. Otherwise, you could write a special DC client and have a web front end. There's another PHP project that did similar - search in the forum archives and you'll find it. Fortunately, at least if using YnHub (with SQL), you can...

I think pausing all downloads when you won't have enough disk space to hold the completed file + some configurable breathing space is a better solution than overflowing. You really should sort though, organize, and re-share good downloads... DC depends on that, to a large degree, to stay "healthy."...

Like your idéa!
Brilliant idéa! But also I think it should be possible to fill in MinSlots, MaxSlots, Min HubSlots, Max HubSlots, Max Hubs and MinShare though. And when these "favorite hub rules/settings" crashes with other "favorite hub rules", DC++ should prompt us about choosing which hub(s) we want to go to ...

BNC would be better than VNC/Radmin
Ok. But I know VNC and Radmin etc., but they all take to much bandwidth (much FPS etc.)! It would be better to have a bouncer for DC++ like there are for mIRC

Bouncer or login to remotely control DC++
My DC++ is almost always running, and when I'm away (@ school for example) it would be nice to remotely control my DC++. I could start new downloads or just view the download progress etc. Therefore it would be great to have a bouncer-program so I could control my DC++ when I'm away (like psyBNC is ...

A 2nd DownLoad dir if/when the primary DL dir gets full
When you download a lot, sometimes the hard disk (download dir/folder) gets full. The idéa : It should be more download (DL) directories! When the 1st DL-dir gets full, it should move the file file it was currently DL-ing to the 2nd DL-dir and continue DL-ing there. It could keep on doing this to...

Re: How does AutoSearch think? What can be improved?
I've also experienced that the AutoSearch for new sources suxx. When I do it manually, it finds sources right away. This AutoSearch-thing does not work as it should! Maybe the AutoSearch-thing does'nt add sources from the user with most slots per shared slots (open slots/shared slots). This AutoSear...

Re: Ability to have sharing profiles, organized by hub
I agree with you! But, if you have trouble with different hub sharing rules, you can use other clients with different share (file list) on. F. ex. use DC 2. U find it @ www.neo-modus.com. But it sure would be better if we just could use different file lists on the hubs we're on in the same client!

More efficient search in DC++
Would'nt it be better if we could mark for which file(s) we wanted to search for when we search for something in DC++? For example, when I search for <a film> I could choose wich file types search for (f. ex. Video and Compressed).
Would it be possible to integrate this in future releases?[/i]

Why not UL-limit?
I have ADSL, and I upload to other users, it always fuxx up my upload-bandwidth, and often it is almost impossible to surf on the net (takes lots of time).
I have only 16 KBps upload, and would like to set it at most 13 KBps.
What is so wrong with upload limits like so many other programs have!?

ISP-check = nice!
It's a fine idea! Why not implement this ISP detection in the autoamated search for alternates feature aswell?
By the way... This auto-search thing does'nt always search for alternates automatically. Would it be possible to set a timer for periodacally automated alternates searching?

AutoSearch for alternates, and autostart/-resume DL of file?
The "search for alternates"-option in DC++ is great, but would'nt it even be better to have an "auto-searc for alternates"-option that would search for files that no longer were unavailable (because the server is offline) and start the download automatically, like some of the add-ins for KaZaA do? D...
