A slight breeze had picked up, as Arne meandered along the sparsly populated streets of Barrow. He giggled quietly to himself as the wind brushed past his pink....

Re: features
1. Search in downloaded lists. I've got about 30 filelists and hard to find files there. I know they are, but must open and view all downloaded lists. Isn't this what the ADLSearch is for? So when you download a filelist, you have easy access to those hard to find files. 3. Submenu with pausing fil...

Don't search immediately with search for alternates.
I'd like to see a slight change in the behaviour of the manually started search for alternates. As this functionality is now, DC++ automatically sends out a search with a search string which is basically the whole filename. However, most similar files won't be found this way because there are always...

Personally i can't see any use to that feature. i think it would get me more crap than useful stuff, and to top it all i would be hogging a slot while collecting it. A practical problem that will pop up is that dc++ can only use filenames and filesize to determine matches, so you could very well end...

Re: Shut down while Uploading
:?: Most or all of the Hubs have a rule that states that you can't quit while another person uploading from you or else you can be banned. I can't remember ever seeing that rule. One rule i regularly see is one that states that you mustn't leave the hub while downloading . A rule that wouldn't allo...

Such a feature would be nice, but not usable as it depends among other things on the hubs giving that info, which it is now anyways.... (I'm not even going to get started on the technical issues) One workaround would be for someone to put together a hublist which only allows hubs to register if they...

Right on.. that match queue feature is quite handy for changed share-dirs. But still, if it possible filelist-wise, an extension to the dcplusplus.xml might pave the way for easier and more organized share-maintenance. sidenote: i'm the uploader, but at least i'll have an shorter answer to where's t...

Having several harddisks with shares on them, i keep getting PM's from people complaining that their downloads get stuck, after i moved a directory to keep my shares organized. You don't have to start all downloads at lowest priority. The new priority would depend on the old priority and the progress made. The idea is that the standard priority would remain normal(50). After that you can change priorities manually. The point i tried to make about low priorities is whether ...

How about: 1) mapping the current presets to numbers, let's say: Lowest: 0 Low: 10 Normal: 25 High: 50 Highest: 100 2) When a download gets interupted, calculate new priority as follows: new_priority := old_priority + (progress/100 * (100 - old_priority)) This would bump up the items relative to the...

Some concerns about the upload queue as described by Gargoyle in Offline Searches . (An in a new thread, so the other one doesn't go off topic too far :) ). 2 concerns: 1) Gargoyle, are you planning to include something that would exclude granted slots from the rotation? (would be nice to grant a sl...

I don't think it would be a very usable feature, as you have to be witnessing the interruption to use it. I think setting high(est) priority when you want a file bad and bumping up priorities when files are interupted would do the trick just as well. I'm getting the feeling you're having a scenario ...

Could you elaborate as to the point of this feature? The progress window shows files which are already being downloaded, so changing the priority at that time doesn't change a thing. Or perhaps you want to change the priority of downloads that get interrupted, but than i feel a give high priority to...

Well, if you want to balance the upload and download slots in your hub, and the users are in multiple hubs, you can't say anything sensible about the amount of slots used in your hub. The only thing you can do is make an assumption (like a user will have an equal amount of upload and download slots ...

Check your queue.xml file to see if it somehow has been corrupted.
