Also, specifically about this thread and it's ilk, be careful about the burden of reading you assign to users before they are considered "acceptable" to post.

Would it be reasonable to require every 17-year-old in the USA to read ALL the rules and regulations of law before becoming 18?

I have been using DC++ for about two weeks, and have been banned from a couple hubs. The disconnect message says "Banned from server by <sysop name>". This leaves me clueless as to what behavior they disapprove of, or how to go about correcting the situation. Especially for a new user, still learnin...
