I can understand with users that like to log into the hub about four times so they can take four of your slots to get that hard to find stuff, but I generally ignore my uploads and only disconnect the uploads that look like they're going to bottom out.

Could relieve alittle stress from hubs.(what with the high latency and all)

Makes thing a bit more efficient.(a least im my mind)

It would be your choice so no losses there, and if its a temporary thing you can always just reinstate downloads from them.

Encryption would be a nice add on. Though it may slow down transfers, depending on the encryption. Triple des would be nice. I haven't heard of anyone cracking that yet, though im not a security expert. But I think alot of busts right now are plants in the network and not packet sniffers.

well I find that some users irrespossibly use dc, but I agree that such a feature should not be add.

If you have problems with some assholes like I do ban them with your firewall.
