One Line Story

Ok heres how it works. Each poster writes one line of a story, the following poster then writes the next line. In times of a double reply to the same bit, it is the ruling that the first one stands. Try to keep it clean and clever people.. not dirty and boring. Here's the first line..... A slight br...

We used to use ArchosBot in the Optimal network. My good friend bm is responsible for coding it. It's a nice app, but probably not compatable with modern hubs softwares(?)

I never have any ML donkey clients in my hub.

The solution..

1. Use a hub software other then NMDCH. (such as Ptokax, YHub, or DCH++ when it's released.)

2. Run an anti-ml donkey script/plugin

Simple...

the ML Donkey problem was solved many months ago ;)

Yes, and anyone who doesn't use one of three approved clients (note that there's no half-decent Mac client in there, as the NMDC one, well, isn't) is a faker.
Potentially, yes. I preffer not to take the chance in my hub, personally. I meant the cross-platform dcgui, which ever that is.. ;)

Therefor, if it doesn't have a DC++ tag, it's probably a faker.

DC++ Decription Tag as a Prefix??

As an OP, it occured to me today - that since, quite likely the only people who use description tags are OPs, why not put the Tag at the start of the description, rather than at the end..? This way the OP can simply sort the description column by order, and seek out any abnormalities fairly easily -...

it continually checks them whether this is pressed or not.. - which uses tonnes of bandwidth, and lots of slots

I think, like Cyberal says, it's over kil checking each users list, every few seconds, as it just eats up precious bandwidth/slots.. a much better way would be, like he said, to check a list when their $myinfo has changed atall.
