Re: connection
256/128 cable for about $30 US$ per month, with 5gb traffic allowance, with national traffic being charged at 1/10th the rate (ie 50gb of nat traffic). You should all count yourself lucky. P.S. New Zealand sucks for internet Hehe try living in Portugal... 640/128 cable, €35/month, 1GB interna...

Some hubs have banned some files... and not just porn, believe me... I was kicked from my hub (you stupid ops! but you don't read this anyway) for sharing RAR files from the newsgroups. You know, those movieblablabla.part12.rar and so on? Well I don't know why they don't want it... the fact is they ...

This would be nice. If it optional of course...LordAdmiral wrote:Queue priority values affect download speeds.
Great Feature. I'm waiting for it.LordAdmiral wrote:In a rollback inconsistency, provide option to trim files (files will be trimmed only if the start of the file is the same).
The other features were nice too.

Hmm... I kind of agree with the post... but... you can't send a message to a user that isn't connected to the hub, so there goes your alternative. Still I agree with you: I think that if the slot could hold for those 10 minutes (or 20...) it would be better. Loosing a slot so instantaneously just se...

Re: Port Forwarding DC++
OK if that is not possible how can I get my Router to work with DC ++ It is Netgear RP114 firewall router.. First, configure your client with a specific port - 1412 used to be the default, but if the port box is blank, it will pick a random one. Next, you must force (ok... last time I checked at le...

See all queued items for a given nick
Or the hability to view the Queued list sorted by nick. This would be *immensely* usefull at least for me. Usually I resort to browsing a users file list to check for the items I'm interested in... I do this a lot! This feature would definitely save my time.

"Download with Priority..." option
How about it? In addition to the "Download" and "Download To...", we would have a "Download with Priority..." which would have as many sub-options as there are priorities.
So... good feature? Should it go on the tracker?

Hmm... this would be a good way to stop fakers... but... I guess they would just stick to older versions. Or use one of those fake-sharing tools. So... a nice feature which I think should be an optional one (I like keeping deleted stuff in my share, not for fake-sharing purposes, but because ppl wil...

the greatest feature ever... OFFLINE STUFF LISTS
OK OK OK This would be a *GREAT* feature!!! Just listen: Every user would be intitled to a "requests list" and "offline stuff list". These would be searchable and downloadable in the same way as the existing user file list, albeit independently. I mean... Wouldn't it be great? What I have shared onl...

Actually I would like to have a download speed limit option. For giving more bandwidth for another purpose mainly. It would be even better if it could limit a specified download... that would a) prevent me from SUCKING ALL THE BANDWIDTH of some individuals (it kind of hurts to be getting 80+% of som...

DCC-send would be even more useful while you're at it. I can't even count the times I had to go on IRC just to send a file that isn't in my share... sure I could add it to the share, refresh and then remove it... not forgetting to grant an extra slot to the guy... but come on! that's a lot more trou...
