Queue.xml Files
Wondering why filelists from fulDC (in this case .675 Beta4) can no longer properly be used with DC++? I copy the file over and, even though the data in the file isn't changed if I open the XML file, DC++ now sees No Users for every entry. I know that the methodology was changed a couple versions ba...

GUI
Programming's not my area, so I really don't know the differences between NMDC and ADC. It just seemed to me that it could be built on the basis that the hubs and PM are. I didn't know that YnHub had the ability to do rooms within main chat. I suppose that you're right in that it may be more Hubsoft...

Multi-User Chat/PMs
Here's an idea that I haven't seen proposed yet. What about a command to INVITE additional users into a Private Chat/PM? I don't kow whether this would have to be just users all in the same hub, or if it could include users in other hubs as well (which would be nice). Any thoughts? :) --- DeathStalker

-1 Files vs FileLists
Ok, there is a difference here - I have seen TTH Searches show a FILESIZE as -1B, even though the TTH matches - I have not determined if there is any client version correlation or anything like that. There is a DIFFERENT issue with the FILELIST showing as -1B - that normally happens when DC++ can't ...

Handshakes/Accepts
DC++ will only accept a certain amount of accept()'s within a given period. This was added partly to make sure the number of threads used in dc++ doesn't have a unlimited thread delta growth. ;) ivulfusbar, Would this be why I see DC timing out a lot, even getting filelists, and even when the other...

Tree-Style Groupings
Initially I thought this might be a good alternative option to have, but then it occurred to me that it doesn't need to be added, because you can just SORT by the TTH value. No need to do extra work for something that's already effectively there. The issue of "fastest user" has already been beaten t...

Ok, maybe I did go a bit overboard in my response (been "battling" the hashing issue in too many hubs) - I know you didn't mention the hashing time, but I thought I'd throw that in for good measure  I congratulate you on the non-TTH ban - I wish more hubs would implement them that quickly. Think About It ....
Quicksilver, if all your argument is about is smaller filelist sizes, then it fails. Filelist size is nothing. Hashing is the way things are, and the way they will be. More and more hubs will be banning the older, non-TTH clients (thankfully!) You talk about being able to match small files (like JPG...

Nice to see you here (I'm pretty sure we know each other from at least one hub)
I know that on the files I've experienced this with, there have been no unusual characters in the folders or filenames - in fact, some have been quite simple.

IGNORE In Chat
Ok, I *tried* to check Bugziulla for this, but kept getting a database error when searching. It would be VERY nice to have an IGNORE feature (similar to the Favorites) for users in Chat ONLY - this should have NO effect on transfers. It should have a way to also remove users from Ignore. This should...

Not The Case
No, that's not the case. Same user, same file, same location. I've experienced this as well - all the way up through (and including) v4033. File is still shared by the user (no nick change either), and it is still in the same location, but DC doesn't see the user as online, EVEN when the file is re-...

GargoyleMT: The problem is, until EVERYONE is running a TTH-compliant client, there are going to be non-TTH files available - without the Search String option, it makes it more inconvenient to do searches for those files. Small But useful Features
Here are a couple of other small but very helpful features that fulDC++ currently implements that would gretly enhance (IMHO) DC++: 1) specifying the size and file types for mini-slots 2) showing the Average Per User Share for each hub And here's something I just thought of - How about a timer in ea...

Please see about adding the File Search and Name Search (in Hub UserList) filters that fulDC++ (and oDC) have. These filters are EXCEPTIONALLY helpful. Ok, the ONE, most annoying, feature that is still missing even from 0.401, is REMEMBERING WINDOW/COLUMN POSITIONS!!!!!!!!! Ok, well dumb-ass me - I'll learn to CHECK things next time, before I post on them  0.307 has HALF of what I was looking for - it DOES finally have the awaiting filenames being shown (that was my main request), but there is still no way that I can see to get the Uploads separated from the Down...

My sincerest apologies to all then - by reading the ChangeLogs, and other posts, I hadn't percieved any functional change since I last tried it at 0.303. As soon as I can shut down my current oDC session, I will give 0.307 a try and report back on my experiences.

I am aware of the sorting options, but was not aware that they had changed since I last tried it at 0.303. I don't know about anyone else, but I REALLY, REALLY like the interface that oDC had up to v5.212. I WANT my uploads and downloads SEPARATED. I shouldn't think that it would be too much trouble to code an option into DC++ to allow for a better selection of configurations. Could be as simple as selec...
