Why don't you test the clients yourself and submit a bug report (via the Sourceforge tracker for DC++... and god knows how for Opera)? Typically the developers and testers are different people in corporations, probably because of the price and value of a coder's time above that of even an exception...

Hmm... for me to continue investigations, it is imperative that you check to see if your hub sends a $Quit message after someone has been $Kicked. If your hubs do not, then I can fix things on my end, but otherwise... Sarf --- Welcome to Borger King. Your way will be assimilated. No, i'm using Ptok...

Try removing ZoneAlarm...seems a lot of DC++ users have problems with it when running dc. It needs to be uninstalled. If it doesn't work, you can always install it again. I going to probe it Only active clients can do multi hub searches (notice the format is $MultiSearch ip:port), so there isn't re...

It might be nice to use something like LibExtractor: http://www.ovmj.org/~samanta/libextractor/ I was reading the link, that's exactly what i mean, it could be usefull, but i still consider to use metadata in DC++ like an option of the soft to be activated for the final user, so people who don´t...

You'll probably have to write your own - there are just too much different file formats (if metadata gets implemented, it should be done proerly - meaning it should cover majority of file types exchanged on DC [MP3, AVI, MPEG, OGG/OGM...])... Impossible!, I can't write my own, i don't nothing about...
