good link, it explains everything :) i personnaly hate these underline chars, and i like it the way it is on a default XP install: you only see the chars when you press "Alt". so the best for me would be to respect the user settings... there's also SPI_SETKEYBOARDCUES in http://msdn.microsoft.com/li...
So this brings to question, should they always be shown, ignoring the windows setting :) , or respect the windows setting and code it that they are shown or hid, depending on if the Atl key is in use. i think your second solution is the best, but if this needs to read the registry and stuff, ...

Re: [req] keep fav. users FL & open FL in context menu
There is this option already : "browse file list" but it's always disabled... this menu command is only enabled in ADC hubs; it allows you not to download a whole file list but just some parts of it. i'm not completely sure, but it's something like that... to open a file list stored on the disk, yo...

using a wireless router could indeed be a good idea. i don't know about optimizing the speeds, sure there are some "secrets", but i'm afraid you won't get so great results (going from 30kbps to 80kbps for instance, but i don't see how you could get 100 times more...). however, don't waste your time ...

you are right, thanks! fixed  actually, it happens also if you have moved/deleted the file from somewhere else (for instance from the windows explorer). the SetPath() function couldn't associate PIDLs to the path, because the path doesn't exist... oh and here it's called "Supprimer" [french] :...

http://dcpp.net/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1063  i've not added any option, but it should be easy, because the shell menu is added in an if(1 item selected) block. so it would just need to be changed to if(1 item && BOOLSETTING(...)) [edit: however, the "standard" menu is still there, it's inser...

GOLIATH, for these DCDM++ bat files to work, you already need WinRAR if i remember correctly. and i don't think this is a good way to explain someone how to compile, just making him clik bat files and waiting til the rars extract automagically... IMHO, it's better he understands the prerequisites by...

SHFileOperation should do it
i also took a look at this feature idea and i was thinking of showing a whole Shell menu... something like this: http://www.codeproject.com/shell/shellcontextmenu.asp
this way, you get the "real" Windows behavior about deleting, renaming, etc.

2. sometimes the buttons in favorite hubs window shows shortcuts with underline characters, but it is hidden like an easter egg do you mean the underline appears only once you push the "Alt" button? if this is it, it's a Windows "feature", and there is a checkbox somewhere to disable this but i can...

Re: Hub Hosting Questions ... (Quite a few)
1) do i have to constantly be on the net and logged on to dc++ to host a hub...the answer is most likely yes most likely yes, however i've heard of a router that integrates a hard disk and a BitTorrent client, so that you can download while the computer is shut down. so, if you could put a DC hub s...
When tabbing around a little more in the Settings menu I found that in Advanced->Experts Only, you tab vertically down to PID and then it jumps up to "Write buffer Size", ignoring "Auto refresh time". "Auto Refresh time" is instead tab-ordered after "Socket Write buffer". That can't be right... In ...
Re: Tab order
3. In the Settings dialog, in Appearance->Windows, the topmost list is not tab-ordered on my computer (with WinXP sp2), this list can be reached with the tab key, but when it has the focus, it just doesn't show it. try this: press the tab key until the focus is given to the "help" button, then pres...

i'm not sure checking only the version would be good enough, remember DC++ is open-source...
you could check with some DC++ mod made for OPs, which can warn you if the user doesn't have enough hashed files for instance.
