Credits and userhashes? Sounds like eMule. :) They have struggled with the same probems in the past so why not learn from them. Here's how they keep the userhashes safe :) http://www.emule-project.net/home/perl/ ... pic_id=135

You do know there are already tools for that with current implementation:

Maybe those tools will help you. :)

1) Is already implemented. 2) Is implemented after a fashion, with .antifrag files, though they're not omitted from file lists. ( one , two requests for more) Well, as prequisities are now met, does this change anyone's opinion about anything, since it seems that sharing incomplete files was the mo...

Doesn't these two statements contradict eachother? Well, if you put it like, yes they do but you've taken them apart from their context. Back to topic.. Suggestions to incomplete file problem: 1) DC++ could have an Incomplete directory for incomplete files in download and when they're complete, the...

No, of course I don't want to promote sharing unfinished files when there is no partial file sharing implemented, that had to be solved first somehow so that incomplete files couldn't be shared. @Naga, please. It's up to users what they download/share. You don't mean that downloading without sharing...

I see the problem here. I always download files to proper dir directly, videos goes to videos and music goes under music dir. So, I don't personally have a unorganized download-dir. There's the difference. But I hate to see that people who download and never share those files again and I end up bein...

Not a good argument. Most files are valid, so arguments based on worst/rarest case scenario isn't very convincing. They're already shared by others, so damage is already done. What's the difference where you delete fake-files from, if it's a shared dir or not. Which reminds me, there should be a del...

Automatically share download-dirs

Currently, you can download files to any directory, even to directories which are not being shared to others. Isn't this strange? So users of filesharing-software don't have to share what they have downloaded, huh? So, as a suggestion, why not change the behaviour so that every download-directory is...

The dupe check works on exact name and filesize, though hopefully that can be eliminated in favor of hash-based duplicates. =) Could this be extended so, that when downloading files, which I already have, would give a duplicate error: "Error downloading: You already have this file" . The comparison...

Oh, I guess the compression is already shown in the progress bar.
This is from 0.302 changelog:
* Multi-shade progress bars to show how much was resumed and compressed
Still, numeric and logged stats would be nice :)

Exactly :D
Also, I'd like to see how effective this compression is and then I could promote this new feature / client to other users also :)

Compression ratio -column

It'd be nice to see compression ratio for transferred files in upload logs. How much was saved by compression and even a realtime ratio for files being transferred.

It doesnt imo need documentation? Or do you mean the sourcecode? So it has hashing, then what? It hashes all my shares? Are these hashes used in any way? Where are they stored? Is multi-source downloading going to happen any time soon? These are just some questions I'd like to have some answers, pl...

Look in related. I think this includes hashing stuff.
Too bad there isn't any documentation about hash-feature, it's just mentioned in preferences.
