Ehhh?
Why use old NMDC hub server?

YnHub is much better, easier etc etc.

Still, the best one is Verlihub.

Yes he does, yes he does, but still there is not even single situation where this maybe a good idea. If so, then why there's even a chance to do that stupid desicion and set 999 slots? If you really wanna keep freedom etc. within DC++, maybe the 99 slots max even? Its still damn much but it sounds e...

Yeah. Well I understand that DC++ is free and you can set up such settings as you wish, but setting 999 slots?
Well actually no, it's not a problem, I got max slots 15 in hub settings so that's alright. I just wonder is it very good idea to put 999 slots..

I agree that this could be good idea, but I'd rather set max slots. 100 slots is pretty mindless idea. Even 25 slots is way too much with for example 512kbps upload. Everyone would get only 2kb/s.

So if you gonna set min slots at 2, then set max slots at 15 or 20.

PWDC++ is PeerWebDC++ which is DC client.
It has multisource, kademlia and limiter support.

DC is Direct Connect?

STDC... what's that?

Yeah but at least here DC++ is almost only client that is accepted, so it is not a problem. What has that todo with anything? It is a problem within DC++-community since different DC++ users will use different fonts (some fixed-size, some variable-sized) And regarding ASCII-art, google is your frie...

Just watch some nice hubs. On many hubs there are command (for exaple +sleep, +beer etc) and when you type thath command you'll get the ascii. The bigger hubs doens't have 'em, but look on small and active ones.

U mean that T1 and T3 stuff? I gotta admit I dunno what is it. Here in Finland we got just Modems (if somebody has 'em), broadband ADSL, VDSL and Cables and also public WLAN / WiMaX.

But upkeeping hub is totally legal, hub gives just a search engine and chat room. If there's a goverment that blames a hub, they could blame google and every chat as well?

I think it would be easier to understand for common users if you put something like:

Modem
GPRS/3G
Satellite
Calbe
DSL
T1
T3

Or like in rmDC++ or similiar, you can choose your speed for exapmle
"Down 8M, Up 1 M".
