Without specificity: You should only forward the port needed for hub operation (411; 412; 1411; 1412) to the computer hosting the Hub. In my configuration, I forward one Hub listening port (413) to one computer and another hub listening port (414) to the other computer. I then set up DC++ on each co...

This would be perfect if you can do it, guys. One of my Ops for [particular game hub with very limited files allowed] also downloads [files I won't say to protect the guilty] and he's constantly adding and removing folders "permanently" every time he switches. He doesn't expect to be in both simulta...

Audible alert for disconnection
I was in a PM today with one of my visitors when I thought that he had been quiet too long. I went to main chat and found that I had been disconnected from my hub (it happens.) Could some sort of annoying noise go off if you are disconnected from a Hub before you close the program?

Blame the use of "GUI" not on my lack of understanding that DCH++ is a service but 1) Night's mention of screenshots and 2) my current sleep deficit. It's still a hub software problem, IMO. DC++ has no control over how the hub software reacts to the entreaty to reconnect automatically. It is how the hub in question is reading the command. Whatever hub this is happening with, it emphatically doesn't happen with all hubs. So the coder of whatever h...

It's national news in the US, too. However, whether anyone likes it or not, the RIAA and friends are perfectly within their rights. Quarter Hour Time Chime
Inspired by the code to broadcast a text message on a regular interval, I decided to come up with a quarter hour time chime to let my hub's users know what time it was (at least on my machine, which is important because my reboot messages always are in my time.) This is a VB script for NMDCH. ' Quar...
