Hi,

In short, I think that agreeing on a $Supports standard is probably the
preferable way to extend the current protocol.  Once that's in place,
we'll have an easier time rolling out things such as QuickList (
http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/QuickList ).  I this
might largely be in agreement with what you said, but if not, feel free
to correct me.

i agree with you. We can start by using the $Supports to extend the current
protocol. But i think the EXTENDPROTOCOL string in the $Lock must not be use
anymore. Only use the $Support to see if the client support extended
commands.

We must also define how to extend the HUB protocol (from the server point of
view). For me the $Support is only use in Client <-> Client protocol.
